First of all, Raymo is an electric, zero-emission mower unlike any other commercial remote controlled mower. It is radio controlled mainly for the purpose of reducing weight and maximizing the fully electric operating time. Such a concept is significantly more energy efficient than any other electric ride-on mower.
Raymo is also the lowest commercial mower in the market allowing you to access such places that other mowers simply can’t. And it is modular – you are free to choose your power source and the mower deck that fits your needs – rotary decks for regular mowing or fine turf mowing and rough cut decks for overgrown grass.
Moreover, the 4WD system gives Raymo a superb climbing ability and unmatched stability on slopes so you can tackle even places that are otherwise not accessible.

Very little indeed. The average power consumption of Raymo is about 1.5kW meaning it consumes 1.5 kWh of energy every hour.
Compare this to petrol prices and the hourly fuel consumption of your standard mower of a comparable size. Plus consider there is almost no maintenance on an electric mower – no air filters, no oil to change, no belts to replace.

The average power consumed by Raymo is roughly 1.5 kW if operated on normal terrain and while mowing a regularly maintained lawn. But this number can vary anywhere from 900 W to 2.5 kW depending mainly on the type and height of grass. So on average, you can easily get 4 to 5 hours of purely electric operation from the 120 Ah battery. But the POWERSWAP system gives you so many options … you can have two or more fully battery cartridges and easily change them. As the power cartridges can be removed from the machine, you can charge the battery while working with another cartridge. The fast charger can reload you battery before you need to change them again.

The crucial thing to remember is that the purpose of the radio control is not the maximum distance, but to keep the operator safe and away from dangerous working conditions. 90% of the time you will be working within the range of 5 to 30 meters (15 to 100 feet) because the limitation will not be the radio signal, but your eyesight. At 30+ meters (100+ feet) it is already difficult to judge the distance between the mower and the obstacles. With increasing distance, the precision and productivity of your work will be quickly reduced.
Always stay within a safe distance (not too near, not too far) at which you can precisely control the machine and yet stay away from any risk. And be sure that most of the time the maximum radio distance will be longer than that the distance at which you can still fully trust your eyesight.
